I was in a car accident one month ago and have been passed on to a third claims adjuster. I started the claim three weeks ago and sent police report, photos of my rear-ended car, medical bills, collision estimates and still haven’t heard anything.

I don’t have collision coverage so my insurance company won’t do anything.

I’ve left messages for the three adjusters and their managers. I still have not talked to a single live person!

I’ve had my car insurance in the UK for 10 years and have 70% no claims discount (deductables as you would call it in the US).

But because I’m here now in the US permanently, is it at all possible to pass my deductables from my UK insurance company to that in the US when I need to buy insurance?
