Since I started driving 9 years ago I have had Liberty Mutual car insurance. I’m not happy with them right now. I was in an accident 6 months ago and they refused to fight it for me. In 9 years I have never had an accident before. I called AAA auto insurance and they gave me a quote. I also called Allstate and they also gave me a quote. These quotes are including the accident that I was in. Which company would you go with? I’m rulling out Mercury.
I’m located in California

I recently bought a 1988 Mazda RX-7. I have always wanted one especially as nice as this one. I called my insurance company to add the car to my policy and I insisted on full coverage. They called me back a couple hours later telling me that the car was too old to be covered under full coverage only liability. Please help. Are they pulling my leg? I also have a 1992 Ford Explorer and its full coverage and its only 4 years newer. Whats up with that?
It doesn’t make sense I am willing to pay them extra $$$ to fully cover an older car. You think they would gladly take the money to cover something that isn’t worth as much as a brand new car. Why won’t they cover it I guess is the REAL question.

A unique (perhaps?) situation: I have a Washington State driver’s license. I got a speeding ticket two years ago in Massachusetts (and paid it). I was driving someone else’s car when I received the ticket. I now live in Connecticut and am about to switch car insurance companies. Given the multiple states I’ve mentioned above, how likely is it that a CT insurance agent will find out about my fairly recent ticket? Thanks for your help!
